Shaap opened its doors in Horsholm in December 2018. In pursuit of the spices, the very first European traveller to India, set his foot on the shores of Kerala– the tiny state in southern India. Kerala is home to a variety of spices. These spices have a huge influence on the local cuisine.
Traditionally, the local people of Kerala hangout in the evening to taste the spicy Kerala food with country liquor and music in “Shaap”. It is this unique taste and flavour of the Kerala cuisine that we intend to bring to Denmark, through our restaurant Shaap.
Shaap is open 7 days a week for dinner. You may opt to eat-in or takeaway.
